Mr Sean Blaney has been a Consultant ENT Surgeon at the London Bridge Hospital for the last decade, where his private practice is based. He has an NHS practice at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals.
Qualifying from the University of London in 1990, his postgraduate training in all aspects of ENT surgery took place in Cambridge, Brighton and London. He undertook a Fellowship in Otology and Paediatric ENT in Australia prior to being appointed an ENT Consultant to Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in 2001. Since then, he has continued to publish and present both nationally and internationally. His interests include hearing loss, vertigo, tinnitus and chronic ear disease.
He has a Ph.D in comparative anatomy and has served both on the Council of the Section of Otology of the Royal Society of Medicine and on the Council of the British Association for Paediatric Otorhinolaryngology.
